The Roundel Dome is a 1770 m high, domed and snow-covered mountain in Grahamland on the Antarctic Peninsula . On the east side of the Bruce Plateau, it rises between the head ends of the Crane and Flask glaciers . The mountain is a suitable landmark for the route from the Larsen Ice Shelf over the Bruce Plateau to the Graham Coast .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1964 after the dark and circular ledge at its summit, which, in combination with the smooth and snow-covered slopes of the mountain, is reminiscent of a cockade ( English roundel ) on aircraft of the Royal Air Force .
