The Royal Center is a complex of buildings located on 1055 West Georgia Street in the financial district of Vancouver , Canada . The building serves primarily as a branch of the Royal Bank of Canada . Other tenants are the US energy company Spectra Energy and the Fluor Corporation .

The RBC Tower is 141 meters high and has 37 floors and was completed in 1973. It was designed by architectural firm CEI Airchitecture and is owned by Brookfield Asset Management , one of the largest real estate companies and asset managers in North America.

At the time of completion, the building was the tallest in Vancouver before it was replaced by the Harbor Center in 1977 . It itself replaced the Toronto Dominion Tower as the tallest building.

Facilities

The building has two underground floors where several shops and restaurants are located. The building has direct access to the Burrard SkyTrain Station and thus to Vancouver's SkyTrain .
