Athletic career

In 2013 Rubén Fernández won the Tour de l'Avenir . Two years later he started at the Giro d'Italia 2015 and finished 62nd overall. In 2015 he finished sixth in the Tour of Britain and sixth in the Tour Down Under ; In 2016 he finished sixth in the Tour Down Under .
