Ruby Dagnall

Ruby Sofia Berntsen Dagnall (* 1999 or 2000 in Oslo ) is a Norwegian actress .

Career

Dagnall grew up in Oslo with an English mother and a Norwegian father before the family moved to Nesodden . There Dagnall went to castings at the age of 14. She has been attending the acting class at Hartvig-Nissen School in Oslo since autumn 2016 . She had her first film role in 2016 in the Norwegian-Danish-German co-production Rosemari by Sara Johnsen , in which she took on the lead role, which earned her a lot of attention. She also starred in the third season and the final episode of the fourth season of the popular television series Skam , which is set at her school.

In 2016 she played one of the leading roles in the music video for the song "Apologize" by Norwegian artists Matilda and OMVR .

In 2017 Dagnall also took on the role of Isabell in Don Juan at the Nationaltheatret in Oslo.

Ruby Dagnall plays the leading role in Baz Luhrmann's short film The Secret Life of Flowers about the designer collaboration between Erdem and H&M , the collection of which will be released in November 2017.
