Rudertshausen is a district of the market Au in the Hallertau in Upper Bavaria . The village is located in the Hallertau , the most important hop growing area in Germany.
history
The place was first mentioned in 937. In the documents of Hofmark Au from 1509, the place is referred to as Ruitershausen. The community Rudertshausen, founded in 1818 with the community edict, comprised the village of Rudertshausen, the hamlets of Buch and Egg and the deserted areas of Giglhof, Weingarten and Wilhelm. On July 1, 1972, the community was incorporated into the market Au in the Hallertau.
