Rudi Bergmann

Rudi Bergmann (born March 15, 1916 in Braunsberg / East Prussia , † January 19, 2003 ) was a German CDU politician .

Life and work

Bergmann, who passed his Abitur at the Hermann von Salza School in Braunsberg, was a teacher by profession and made it up to the headmaster. In the 1970s he was also a member of the supervisory board of the Hamburg waterworks .

MP

From 1959 to 1966 Bergmann belonged to the district assembly Hamburg-Mitte , from 1961 he was chairman of the CDU parliamentary group. From 1957 to 1978 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament . As the school policy spokesman for the CDU civic parliamentary group, he spoke out against the new Hamburg School Act in 1968 because it reduced the parents' right to participate in school education to target regulations.
