Rudi Murmann

Rudi Murmann (born January 31, 1947 ) is a former German soccer player and soccer coach .

From his hometown club SV Blankenloch, the defender moved to FK Pirmasens in 1966 . In January 1968 Murmann went to FC Germania Forst . For the 1969/70 season , Rudi Murmann joined SSV Reutlingen 05 . For Reutlingen he was in the Regionalliga Süd until relegation at the end of the Regionalliga season in 1972/73 in 137 games and scored 4 goals. In the 1973/74 season Murmann played with SSV Reutlingen in the 1st Amateur League Black Forest-Bodensee. As a Württemberg amateur champion, he qualified with the SSV for the final round of the 1974 German amateur championship in which Rudi Murmann and his Reutlingen team became German amateur champions for the first time in the club's history . In the following season he was with the SSV champion of the 1st amateur league Black Forest-Bodensee and thus reached the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga in which Murmann and his team made the promotion perfect with 5 wins in 6 group games. In the second division season 1975/76 Rudi Murmann completed 37 professional games for SSV Reutlingen. After the SSV was relegated, he ended his playing career after winning the Black Forest-Bodensee Championship again in the 1976/77 season and the subsequent unsuccessful promotion round.

After his active career, Murmann worked as a coach for TSV Pliezhausen and FC Reutlingen. He then became interim coach of the first team of SSV Reutlingen 05 in the 1983/84 season, which at that time, after relegation from the major league in the previous season, played in the Württemberg Association League.
