Rudlfing is a district located on the high bank of the Isar east of Marzling and a district of the municipality of Marzling in Upper Bavaria .

history

Rudlfing was first mentioned in a document in the 8th century AD. The pilgrimage in Rudlfing goes back to the 15th century. The Catholic pilgrimage church of St. Maria is a baroque hall building with a retracted polygonal choir, west tower with onion dome and attached sacristy. The building was rebuilt by Ignaz Reiser in 1752–55. In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria, the municipality of Rudlfing with the villages of Hangenham, Riegerau, Riedhof and Hirschau was created with the municipal edict of 1818 . On January 1, 1972, the place Rudlfing was incorporated into Marzling , some areas of the previous municipality also to Langenbach .
