Rudolf Braun (politician, 1955)
Rudolf Braun (born June 25, 1955 in Falkenstein / Vogtl. ) Is a German politician ( CDU ) and former member of the German Bundestag , to which he belonged from November 10, 1994 to October 26, 1998 (one electoral term).
Life
After graduating from high school in 1977, Rudolf Braun completed a technical college course to become a medical-technical radiology assistant (later specializing as a specialist assistant for X-ray diagnostics ).
From 1990 to 1991 he worked as a department head for health and social affairs in the city administration of Auerbach / Vogtl. Since 1991 he has been an honorary judge at the Zwickau Regional Court .
In 1976 Rudolf Braun joined the Eastern CDU and was a city councilor for Auerbach from 1990 to 1994. In 1994 he was elected directly to the Bundestag for the CDU with 48.5% of the votes cast in constituency 328 ( Reichenbach - Plauen - Auerbach - Oelsnitz ) and was a member of the Bundestag until 1998 .
He was also a full member of the Home Affairs Committee and an alternate member of the Committee on Economic Cooperation and Development .
Among other things, on January 16, 1998 Rudolf Braun approved the draft law of the parliamentary groups of the CDU / CSU, SPD and FDP to amend Article 13 of the Basic Law ( large eavesdropping ).
He is married and has two children.
