Rudolf Ebertshäuser
Rudolf Ebertshäuser (* 1953 ) is a German Bible teacher, lecturer and author who belongs to the environment of the conservative brother movement .
Live and act
Ebertshäuser studied English and German and after completing his master's degree, worked as a publishing editor in various, also Christian-oriented book publishers. At the age of 30 he came to believe in Jesus Christ and was initially an active member of a charismatic church. In 1992 he broke away from the charismatic movement due to theological differences . He then joined a congregation of brothers. From 1995 to 2003 he worked on the revision of the Schlachter Bible . He is considered one of the strongest proponents of the textus receptus . Since 2003 he has devoted himself increasingly to teaching and preaching as well as writing scriptures and books. He is also known for his lectures on the charismatic movement, end-time developments in Christianity, and biblical topics.
In November 2002 he started the ESRA writing service, the aim of which is to disseminate teaching and educational literature that is true to the Bible.
Private
Rudolf Ebertshäuser has been married to his wife Undine since 1984. The couple has ten children and lives in Leonberg .
criticism
Rudolf Ebertshäuser questions many other Christians and movements based on the Bible. This applies to Catholic, ecumenical, evangelical, charismatic and social groups. He is accused of equating the diversity of the Bible with his own interpretation and of condemning other people and positions relatively quickly without thoroughly knowing, considering and appreciating their arguments, contexts and cultures. He recorded and documented his arguments in numerous publications.
