Rudolf Geyer (graphic artist)

Rudolf Geyer (born January 24, 1884 in Vienna ; † June 3, 1972 in Vienna ) was an Austrian graphic designer.

Geyer graduated from the Vienna School of Applied Arts from 1904 to 1909 and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna with Franz Rumpler from 1909 to 1913 . As early as 1906, his teacher Rudolf von Larisch Geyer's drafts were published. Geyer was a member of the Austrian Werkbund . He produced book art designs for numerous publishers. He also produced commercial graphics for the Wiener Werkstätte . He was buried at the Vienna Central Cemetery .
