Rudolf Graf von der Schulenburg-Wolfsburg (born September 7, 1937 at Wolfsburg Castle ) is a former German manager in the automotive industry.

Rudolf Graf von der Schulenburg-Wolfsburg belongs to the Schulenburg family . He was born on the family seat of Wolfsburg Castle and was one of four children of Günther Werner Busso Graf von der Schulenburg (1891–1985) and Ursula geb. Freiin von Dincklage (1905–1951), who married in 1928. His siblings were Ina, Werner and Günzel . He is married to Jutta, born Freiin von der Leyen zu Bloemersheim . The marriage had four children.

Rudolf Graf von der Schulenburg-Wolfsburg was born on September 7, 1937 at Wolfsburg Castle, but his parents had to move with him to the newly built Neumühle Castle as early as November 1942 , as the property belonging to Wolfsburg Castle was used for the construction of the Volkswagen factory and the associated premises City of the KdF car (renamed Wolfsburg in 1945 ) was needed.

In 1945 his family fled with him to the British zone of occupation and settled on the Nordsteimke manor , as Neumühle Castle was assigned to the Soviet zone of occupation .

He completed a mechanical engineering degree at RWTH Aachen University , which he graduated as a graduate engineer. From 1967 he worked at BMW , from 1974 as General Managing Director at BMW South Africa . From 1977 to 1978 he was CEO of BMW-Motorrad , after which he devoted himself to his own entrepreneurial activities.

After retiring, he took on a number of honorary positions. In 2008 he was elected President of the Automobile Club of Germany as the successor to Wolfgang-Ernst Fürst zu Ysenburg and Büdingen . In 2012 he resigned from this office and was appointed honorary president of the German Automobile Club. He was appointed to represent Germany in the Senate of the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA).
