Rudolf Haas (entrepreneur, 1901)

Rudolf Haas (born June 26, 1901 in Mannheim , † October 18, 1987 in Heidelberg ) was a German manufacturer and local researcher .

Haas graduated from high school in Mannheim in 1919. From 1919 to 1923 he studied law at the Universities of Freiburg , Kiel and Munich . In 1923 he received his doctorate from the law faculty of the University of Freiburg. In 1924 he took up a position in the Waldhof pulp mill in Mannheim. In 1938 he became a deputy board member and in 1957 a full board member. In 1966 he retired. From 1924 to 1982 Haas was a board member of the Mannheim Antiquities Association and from 1970 to 1977 its chairman. In 1972 Haas received the Schiller plaque from the city of Mannheim and in 1981 the ring of honor from the city of Mannheim .

Rudolf Haas was the son of the manufacturer of the same name (1836–1897) of the Mannheim pulp factory. Rudolf Haas was married and had four children, a son and three daughters.
