Rudolf Hilfenhaus

Rudolf Hilfenhaus (born June 11, 1937 in Welkers ) is a German machinist and social democrat . From 1974 to 1991 he sat in the Hessian state parliament .

Life

After primary school, Rudolf Hilfenhaus did an apprenticeship as a machine fitter and worked for the German Federal Railroad. He qualified further at the railway technical school and from 1961 worked in the middle technical civil service.

Hilfenhaus had been a member of the SPD since 1965, where he held various board positions. So he was district chairman of the SPD Fulda-Land and after the regional reform in Hesse of the district of Fulda. From 1964 to 1972 he was a community representative in Welkers, then until 1979 in Eichenzell. Since 1968 he was also a member of the Fulda district council.

For five terms, from December 1, 1974 to April 4, 1991, he was a member of the Hessian state parliament. In 1979 and 1984 he was a member of the Federal Assembly .
