Rudolf Kindt

Rudolf Kindt (born January 27, 1873 in Birkenfeld / Old. , † November 4, 1928 in Darmstadt ) was a publisher and politician ( DNVP ) and a former member of the regional council of German South West Africa and the state parliament of the people of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Life

Rudolf Kindt was the son of the Supreme Court Councilor Konstantin Kindt and his wife Antonie, née Weschke. Rudolf Kindt, who was of the Protestant denomination, remained unmarried. After studying in Darmstadt, where he became a member of the Corps Hassia , and in Karlsruhe , he worked as a businessman in Windhoek . There he was editor of the magazine Südwest . From 1910 to 1915 he was a member of the Regional Council of German South West Africa . In 1919 he was expelled from South West Africa by the British victorious powers and then lived as a writer in Darmstadt.

From 1921 until his death in 1928 he was a member of the state parliament of the People's State of Hesse . After his death, Julie Heraeus replaced him in the state parliament.
