Rudolf Korb

Rudolf Korb (born March 31, 1845 in Prague , † August 29, 1925 in Drum ) was a Bohemian civil servant and conservationist.

Life

After attending school in Prague, Rudolf Korb studied law at the Charles University in Prague from 1863 . During his studies he became a member of Corps Austria . He graduated on 4 November 1869, the Promotion Dr. iur. from. Afterwards he was an administrative officer in Vienna from 1870 to 1873. He returned to Prague in 1873 and worked as a civil servant at the Lieutenancy there. It was in 1892 for district captain , 1902 councilor and 1913 vice-president of the Prague Lieutenancy appointed. With his writings he was a pioneer of nature conservation in the Kingdom of Bohemia .
