Rudolf Priemer
Rudolf Priemer (* 1938 in Döben near Grimma ) is a German homeland and regional researcher .
Life
After finishing school, Priemer learned to be a bricklayer. This was followed by the Abitur at the workers 'and farmers' faculty , studying at the Humboldt University in Berlin with the degree as a diploma teacher for history and art education, and distance learning with the diploma as a diploma ethnographer .
Priemer worked as a teacher in Beiersdorf for three years. From 1966 he was an assistant at the Wurzen Museum and in 1969, succeeding Elisabeth and Wolfgang Krämer, became its director. He wrote numerous articles for the Muldental periodical "Der Rundblick" .
In 1973 Priemer was transferred to the Grimma District Museum as director. He later moved back to Wurzen, where he was home nurse at the Office for Rural Reorganization for ten years until retirement age .
Rudolf Priemer is a member of the board of the Landesverein Sächsischer Heimatschutz (Department of Folklore / Folk Art, AG Village Development).
