Rudolf Reinicke

Rudolf Reinicke (born March 23, 1870 in Hanover ; † February 6, 1939 in Oberursel ) was a German architect and municipal building officer .

Life

Rudolf Reinicke studied at the Technical University of Hanover , where he passed the final examination with distinction in 1893. After graduating, he began a legal traineeship as a government construction manager . After study trips to Italy and military service as a one-year volunteer in 1894/1895, he passed the 2nd state examination and was appointed government builder on June 10, 1898 ( assessor in the public building administration). He first worked as a ministerial building commissioner at the Prussian Ministry of Public Works in Berlin . On May 1, 1899, he moved to the city administration of Frankfurt am Main as a town planning inspector . On January 20, 1909, he was appointed to the magistrate's senior building officer with the city's building police .

Reinicke created a large number of buildings in Frankfurt am Main, some of which are listed . In addition to public buildings such as schools, he also designed city-owned residential buildings.
