Rudolf Thierbach

Rudolf Thierbach (* 1926 in Löbau ) is a former German politician ( SPD ) and the last district administrator in the Usingen district .

Rudolf Thierbach did military service in the Second World War and became a prisoner of war . He then studied law and completed his studies with both state exams and a doctorate. In 1955 he became an official in the Hessian Ministry of the Interior. In 1966, after the death of Heinrich Müller, he was elected district administrator for the Usingen district. As part of the regional reform in Hesse in 1972, the Usingen district and the Obertaunus district were merged to form the Hochtaunus district. The first district administrator of the new district was not Rudolf Thierbach, but his colleague from the Obertaunus district Werner Herr . Rudolf Thierbach then worked as a lawyer and notary in Usingen .
