Rudolf Walter (born August 29, 1864 in Stuttgart , † April 7, 1941 in Berlin ) was a German architect and construction clerk .

Life

Rudolf Walter was the son of the Stuttgart architect Carl Walter (1834–1906). After studying at the Technical University of Stuttgart , he worked in his father's office.

In 1897 he moved to Berlin and in 1900 became urban planning inspector in the municipal building administration of the city ​​of Charlottenburg, which was independent until 1920 (from 1920 Berlin-Charlottenburg ). In 1914 he was promoted to municipal building officer and in 1926 to senior municipal building officer. He built numerous school and social buildings in Charlottenburg.

Rudolf Walter was buried in the south-west cemetery in Stahnsdorf .
