Rudolf von Ringoltingen
Rudolf von Ringoltingen (* around 1385; † after June 15, 1456 ) was mayor of Bern and Lord of Landshut .
Rudolf von Ringoltingen was born as the son of Heinrich von Ringoltingen and Klara Matter. His first marriage in 1409 was to Jonata von Mömpelgard-Oltigen, his second marriage to Paula von Hunwil and, before 1446, his third marriage to Margareta von Düdingen. Rudolf von Ringoltingen was a member of the Bernese Grand Council from 1409, from 1435 to 1455 also of the Small Council and in 1448, 1451 and 1454 mayor of Bern. During his official career he worked regularly as envoy for Bern.
Rudolf von Ringoltingen taxed a fortune of 31,000 guilders in 1448. From 1415 onwards, this included the Landshut castle and estate as well as goods in Belp , Kehrsatz , La Neuveville and Ligerz .
