Heinrich IV von Bubenberg (* September 7, 1407 ; † November 27, 1464 ) was mayor of Bern and baron of Spiez .

Life

Heinrich von Bubenberg married Anna von Rosenegg (1424–1482), daughter of Hans von Rosenegg and Johanna von Hasenburg , around 1420 . In 1422 he joined the Small Council of the City of Bern, from 1425 to 1431 he was bailiff in Aarberg , from 1426 to 1430 mayor in Thun and from 1434 to 1437 again bailiff in Aarberg. In 1438 he acquired the knighthood . Between 1447 and 1464 he was mayor of Bern six times. During the Old Zurich War , Bubenberg made the arbitration award as chairman in Einsiedeln in 1450 .

Heinrich von Bubenberg was baron of Spiez , lord of Schadau, Mannenberg, Uttigen and Wartenfels. The reign of Wartenfels brought Anna von Rosenegg into the marriage.
