Rudolf von Seydlitz-Kurzbach

Hans Rudolf Feodor Alexander von Seydlitz-Kurzbach (also: von Seydlitz and Ludwigsdorf ) (* July 2, 1812 in Pilgramshain in the Striegau district ; † January 11, 1870 in Meran ) was a German manor owner and court official.

Life

Rudolf von Seydlitz-Kurzbach was born on Pilgramshain as the son of the state elder of the Striegau district, Hans Rudolf Albrecht von Seydlitz. After graduating from high school in Hirschberg , he studied at the universities of Heidelberg , Bonn and Berlin . In 1834 he became a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn . After completing his studies, he took over the manors Niederstruse and Schmachtenhain in the Neumarkt district as well as the family seat of Pilgramshain. He was royal Prussian chamberlain and state elder of the Striegau district.
