Rudolf von Stülpnagel

Rudolf von Stülpnagel (born April 8, 1831 in Berlin , † December 8, 1900 in Sandberg near Belzig ) was a German administrative officer, manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Rudolf von Stülpnagel studied at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1850 he became a member of the Corps Brunsviga Göttingen . After graduating, he entered the Prussian civil service. From 1861 to 1897 he was district administrator for the district of Zauch-Belzig . Von Stülpnagel was the owner of a manor in Sandberg near Belzig.

Stülpnagel sat from 1867 to 1873 and after a by-election from 1882 until his death in 1900 as a member of the constituency Potsdam 7 (Westhavelland, Zauch-Belzig) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the Conservative Party .

He was married to Margarete geb. von Rochow (1850-1919). From this marriage three sons were born: Rudolf, Conrad and Wichard.
