Rudolph August Schubart

Rudolph August Schubart (born October 26, 1694 in Leipzig ; † October 27, 1770 ibid) was an Electoral Saxon lawyer and five times mayor of the city of Leipzig between 1761 and 1769 .

Career

The son of the Royal Prussian Commerzienrats Johann August Schubart studied after completing his school education law . The Dr. iur. Schubart received his doctorate and was appointed councilor in Leipzig in 1742. In 1750 he became city judge and in 1758 proconsul. Schubart was mayor of Leipzig in 1761, 1764, 1766, 1768 and 1769.

Schubart was an imperial court palatinate count as well as electoral court and judiciary and owner of the Zweinaundorf manor .
