Rudy Gaddis
Rudy Gaddis (born September 3, 1926 in Ben Wheeler , Texas , † November 11, 2006 in Kilgore , Texas) was an American country musician . Gaddis' voice was very similar to that of Hank Snow .
Life
Gaddis was based in Tyler , Texas and recorded the single Uranium Fever / My Tears Are a Measure in 1955 after a successful audition for Starday . Both tracks were recorded in the studio of a radio station in Shreveport - the A-side was very similar to Hank Williams ' Kaw-Liga . It was Gaddis' only Starday single. At the same time, Gaddis was a member of the Texoma Round-Up from Dallas . He later played with the Lonestar Rangers on other records for Liberty, Love and Custom. In the 1980s, Gaddis gave up music.
