Rui Duarte de Barros

Rui Duarte de Barros (* 1960 ) is a Guinea-Bissau economist and politician .

Duarte de Barros was Minister of Finance in 2002 and then worked for the West African Economic and Monetary Union . On May 16, 2012 he was temporarily appointed Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau. On July 4, 2014, he was followed by PAICG chairman Domingos Simões Pereira as head of government.
