The ruins of Dettingen are the ruins of a castle in the Ihlingen district near Dettingen , a current district of Horb am Neckar in the Freudenstadt district in Baden-Württemberg .

The castle was probably built in the 12th century by the Lords of Dettingen, some of whom were nicknamed Lamp . In 1139 a Rudolfus de Tetingen was named. In the 12th century, the von Horb family had ties to Hirsau and Klosterreichenbach .

Remnants of walls and moats are still preserved from the former castle complex .
