Ruivães is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

Mizarela Bridge

Ruivães is part of the Vieira do Minho county in the Braga district . The community had an area of ​​30.2 km² and 753 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the parishes of Ruivães and Campos were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Ruivães e Campos . Ruivães is the seat of this newly formed community.
