Ruken Aytaş

Ruken Aytaş (born October 3, 1967 in Ağrı ) ( Turkey ) is a German politician of Kurdish origin and Bremen ( SPD ) and was a member of the Bremen citizenship .

education and profession

Aytaş attended a primary school in Bremerhaven from 1973 to 1975 and a primary school from 1975 to 1978 and then a middle school in Ankara in 1978/79 . After the death of her father, she moved to her mother in Germany in 1979 and attended the comprehensive school in Bremen Ost from 1980 to 1985. Then she attended the upper secondary school (NGO) which she graduated in 1988 with the Abitur. From 1985 to 1994 she worked in various social institutions with young people. From 1988 to 1995 she studied biology at the University of Bremen and completed her diploma in human biology. In 1991 she acquired German citizenship. From August 1994 she took on the role of social pedagogue in the Gewitterziegen association .

She is married and has two kids.

politics

Aytaş has been a member of the SPD since 1996. From 1996 to 1998 she was a member of the state youth welfare committee of the citizenship. From 2000 to 2001 and from 2007 to 2011 she was a member of the advisory board of the Bremen - Hemelingen district ; from 2009 to 2011 as parliamentary group spokeswoman for the SPD advisory group. From 2008 to 2019 she was a board member of the SPD local association Hastedt .

In the 18th electoral term , she was a member of the Bremen citizenship from 2011 to 2015. She was elected to the citizenry by voting. She has been in the SPD parliamentary group since 2011. Aytaş was represented in the committee for civic participation, civic engagement and advisory boards (city), committee for gender equality, youth welfare committee, state youth welfare committee, temporary committee to amend the state constitution and in the works committees "KiTa Bremen" and “Werkstatt Bremen” as well as in the city deputation for social affairs, children and youth.

From 2012 to 2018 Aytaş was a board member of the ARSP (Working Group of Social Democratic Women) sub-district Bremen Stadt (secretary). Since July 2015 she has been the Deputy for Home Affairs in the Bremen Citizenship.

Aytas ran for the mayor's office in Diepholz in 2018. as a candidate for the SPD and lost the election.

  • Aytaş has been a volunteer at the Lagerhaus cultural center since 1995 .
  • From 2005 to 2008 she was a board member of the Dölvestraße children's home and from 2007 to 2010 she was a youth protection expert of the Voluntary Self- Regulation of the Film Industry (FSK).
  • She is the managing director of the Gewitterziegen association , which deals with gender-specific work with girls.
  • Ruken Aytas has been the managing director and owner of the “Krone Weser Perle” boutique hotel in Bremen-Hastedt since July 2016.
