Ruki Tomita (born December 28, 2001 ) is a Japanese snowboarder . She starts in the halfpipe discipline .

Career

Tomita finished fifth in the 2018 Junior World Championships in Cardrona and sixth in the halfpipe at the 2019 Junior World Championships in Leysin . In March 2019 she won the World Rookie Finals on the Kitzsteinhorn . At the beginning of the 2019/20 season, she started the Snowboard World Cup in Copper Mountain for the first time and finished 12th. This was followed by three top ten placements; she achieved 21st place in the Freestyle World Cup and tenth place in the Halfpipe World Cup. In February 2020 she won the US Revolution Tour in Mammoth and finished third at the Burton US Open in Vail .
