Rundvåg ( Norwegian for round bay ) is a small side bay in the southeast of the Lützow-Holm Bay on the Prince Harald Coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is located immediately south of the Rundvågskollane group of hills . The southern part of this bay, which is round when viewed from above , is taken up by the glacier tongue of Vågsbreen (Norwegian for bay glacier ).
Norwegian cartographers mapped it using aerial photographs taken during the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 . Its shape gives it its name.
