Runesoft GmbH is a German studio for computer games . It does not develop its own titles, but implements games from other studios for alternative platforms such as MacOS and Linux , initially also Amiga, and for several years iOS . As a rule, these are games from German studios, such as the Ankh and Rhem series. Often these implementations are also published by RuneSoft; the company also acts as a publisher.

history

The game developer was founded in 2000 in Tübingen under the name epic interactive entertainment gmbh . In 2005 he changed his name to RuneSoft . The company is based in the Kesselsdorf district of Wilsdruffer near Dresden .

Starting in 2012, Runesoft began to sell some games from the catalog through the digital distributor Desura .
