Rupkite [ ˈrupkitɛ ] ( bulg . Рупките ) is a village in southern Bulgaria , in the Oblast of Stara Sagora , in the municipality of Chirpan .
The village is located in Northern Thrace, on the southern slopes of the Balkan Mountains .

The late Roman road station (stacio milliaria) Karasura (bulg. Карасура, dt. Transcription: Karasura) is located in northern Thrace - a few kilometers south of the village of Rupkite - in the direction of the village of Swoboda (bulg. Свобода).
