Rusmin Dedič

Rusmin Dedič (born September 11, 1982 ) is a Slovenian football player .

The defender began his career with Rudar Velenje . In 2003 he moved to Worskla Poltava in the Ukrainian Premjer-Liha . In November of that year, he passed a testosterone positive drug test and was banned for six months. He then returned to Slovenia and played one year each for Olimpija Ljubljana and again for Rudar Velenje. In 2006 he went to reigning champions ND Gorica , with whom he participated in qualifying for the 2006/07 UEFA Champions League , but did not get beyond the second round. In 2007 Gorica became vice-champion. In the 2007/08 UEFA Cup , however, the club failed in the first qualifying round. After third place in the 2008 championship, Dedič moved again to Rudar Velenje. He also finished third with Velenje and reached the second qualifying round of the 2009/10 UEFA Europa League . After that, the club always ended up in the middle of the table until they finished third again in 2013. In the UEFA Europa League 2014/15 he was eliminated in the first qualifying round.
