The Russet Pikes ( English for rust-brown skewers ) are a group of mountains on Horseshoe Island in Marguerite Bay off the Fallières coast of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . They tower just east of the entrance to Gaul Cove .
The Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey carried out their survey between 1955 and 1957. Its name is based on its rusty brown color, which is visible all year round. Their slopes are too steep for snow to deposit on them for a long time.
