The Russian Islamic University ( Russian Российский исламский университет / Rossijski islamski uniwersitet;. Scientific transliteration Rossijskij islamskij universitet ) in the city of Ufa ( Уфа ) in Bashkortostan is a nongovernmental higher education institution in the Russian Federation in the Central Spiritual Board of Muslims in Ufa . It was founded by the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims with branch institutes in Samara , Orenburg , Astrakhan and other cities.
