Rustam Temirgaliev (2014)

Rustam Ilmirowitsch Temirgalijew ( Russian Рустам Ильмирович Темиргалиев , Tatar Rüstm İlmir uğlı Temirğəliyev ; born  August 15, 1976 in Ulan-Ude , Buryat ASSR ) is a Russian politician of Tatar origin. He became First Deputy Prime Minister of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in 2014 .

Temirgaliev was put on the list of sanctions in the Crimean crisis by the European Union on March 17, 2014 . The reason given was the following:

“As Deputy Chairman of the Crimean Council of Ministers, Temirgaliev played an important role in the decisions of the Supreme Council regarding the 'referendum' against the territorial integrity of Ukraine. He actively campaigned for Crimea to join the Russian Federation. "
