Rusted Brain is a Polish thrash metal band from Warsaw that was formed in 2009.
history
The band was formed in August 2009. Shortly afterwards the first songs were recorded and the first performances were held. The following year the EP Juggler was recorded and released in 2011 on Metal Mundus Records . In November 2011, three performances were held with Hirax and Assassin . In March 2012 the band took third place at the Wacken Metal Battle. In the same year, the group was also seen at the MetalFest. In August, the recording of the debut album High Voltage Thrash began , which was released in February 2013 as a CD on Slaney Records and as an audio cassette on Tridroid Records . The release was followed by a year-long tour of Poland and Ukraine , with the group collaborating with Overkill , Death to All , Heathen and Generation Kill, among others . Then work on a new album began.

Mike "MetalMike" Baird of metalcrypt.com wrote in his review of Juggler that it was old school thrash metal. However, the riffs are not as sharp and aggressive as they are usual for the genre. He also heard a crossover influence . According to Michael Oelschlegel from voicesfromthedarkside.com , High Voltage Thrash plays high- energy and riff-heavy old school Thrash Metal. The songs are often fast, using melodies and leads from classic heavy metal .
