Ruth Scoralick

Ruth Scoralick (* 1960 ) is a German Catholic theologian and Old Testament scholar .

Life

She studied Catholic theology and philosophy in PTH Sankt Georgen , Munich and Jerusalem . After receiving her doctorate (1992) in Sankt Georgen and training as a pastoral consultant , she was a research assistant in Passau and Münster . After her habilitation in Münster in 2002, she taught from 2002 to 2011 as a professor of exegesis of the Old Testament in Lucerne . She has been teaching in Tübingen since 2011.

Her research focus is the biblical wisdom literature, especially the book of proverbs / sayings of Solomon .
