Ruy Franco de Almeida Junior , called Ruy , (born January 26, 1989 in Itapeva , SP ) is a Brazilian football player . The attacking midfielder's strong foot is the left.
Career
Ruy started his career at Coritiba FC . Here, however, the player did not make the leap into the professional squad. For the 2010 season, the player was loaned to the Vilhena EC . With this he played his first game as a professional. On February 25, 2010 Ruy was substituted on in the Copa do Brasil game against Athletico Paranaense in the 55th minute. For the 2011/12 season, the player moved to Portugal on loan . In the third division GD Ribeirão came to a use in the Portuguese cup competition in the season and eight league appearances. Ruy only stayed in Portugal for the season and returned to Brazil in 2012. Here he was first loaned out to lower class clubs. In 2015 he came to his home club for the first time. In total, he was able to play 18 first division appearances and three games in the cup competition in the season . He scored one goal in both competitions. He scored his first first division goal on June 21, 2015 in the game against Athletico Paranaense in the 77th minute. In 2015 and 2016, Ruy was regularly employed at Coritiba. After Ruy played for Coritiba in the national championship, he was loaned to América Mineiro for the remainder of the 2017 season while the competition was still running . With America, Ruy reached the championship in the Série B 2017. To win the title, he contributed six goals in 22 games. With the win, América qualified for the Série A and wanted to sign Ruy for the 2018 season, but Coritiba contradicted this request. Initially returned to Coritiba, but was loaned back to America for the remainder of the year after four games in the national championship. The next loan deal for Ruy followed for the 2019 season. He came to EC Vitória for a year .
