Ryōta Nagata ( Japanese 永田 亮 太 Nagata Ryōta ; born May 17, 1985 in Kyoto Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Nagata learned to play soccer on the Kyoto Purple Sanga youth team and the Ritsumeikan University team . He signed his first contract with Shonan Bellmare in 2008 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . At the end of the 2009 season, the club rose to the J1 League . For the club he completed 83 league games. In 2011 he moved to the second division Sagan Tosu . In 2011 he was runner-up in the second division with the club. For the club he completed 14 league games. In 2012 he moved to league rival Montedio Yamagata . For Yamagata, he completed 20 league games. In 2013 he moved to league competitor Thespakusatsu Gunma . For the club, he completed 56 league games. In 2015 he moved to league competitor Kamatamare Sanuki . At the end of the 2018 season, the club was relegated to the J3 League .
