Ryūsuke Sakamoto ( Japanese 坂 本 竜 介 , Sakamoto Ryūsuke ; born November 25, 1984 ) is a Japanese table tennis player .
In 2002 Sakamoto moved from the Japanese club Aomori Yamada to Jahn Kassel in Germany . After a stopover at TTC Schwalbe Bergneustadt in the 2nd Bundesliga, he joined the record champions Borussia Düsseldorf in the 1st Bundesliga in 2004 , where he played until 2006. In 2006 he moved to the second division club DJK Germania Holthausen . In the first half of the 2006/07 season he was one of the best players in the 2nd Bundesliga. He returned to Japan for the 2007/2008 series.
