The Rybnaya Inlet ( English ; Russian Бухта Рыбная Buchta Rybnaja , German 'Fish Bay' ) is a bay on the Ingrid Christensen coast of the East Antarctic Princess Elisabeth Land . It is located in the northeast of the Langnes Peninsula in the Vestfold Mountains area .

Norwegian cartographers mapped them in 1946 using aerial photographs of the Lars Christensen Expedition in 1936/37 . Additional aerial photographs were taken during the US American Operation Highjump (1946–1947), by scientists on a Soviet Antarctic expedition in 1956, which they also named, and during the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions in 1957 and 1958. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia transferred the Russian name in 1973 in a transcribed partial translation into English.
