The Ryghnuten ( Norwegian ) is a 2630 m high mountain in the Heimefrontfjella of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the southern section of Sivorgfjella it rises on the southern flank of Bonnevie-Svendsenbreen .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named it in 1967. It is named after the Norwegian civil engineer Herlov Rygh (1902–1964), a leader of the resistance movement against the German occupation of Norway in World War II and editor of the resistance newspaper London nytt .
