Ryōtarō Itō ( Japanese 伊藤 涼 太郎 , Itō Ryōtarō ; * February 6, 1998 in Osaka , Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Ryōtarō Itō learned to play football in the youth teams of Avanti Kansai FC and Cerezo Osaka and the school team of Sakuyo High School . He signed his first professional contract in 2016 with the Urawa Red Diamonds . The club from Urawa-ku , a district of the metropolis Saitama , played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . From September 2017 to January 2019 he was loaned to Mito Hollyhock . With the club from Mito he played 40 times in the second division, the J2 League . Immediately afterwards he was loaned to the first division promoted Ōita Trinita to Ōita . For Ōita, he completed four first division games. He returned to the Urawa Reds after his loan in February 2020.
