Ryszard Koziołek
Ryszard Koziołek (born March 23, 1966 in Bielsko-Biała ) is a Polish literary scholar and literary historian . In his academic work, he mainly deals with the Polish literature of positivism and modernity , in particular with the works of Teodor Parnicki and Henryk Sienkiewicz .
Life
Koziołek studied Polish Studies at the Silesian University , where he obtained his master's degree in 1991 . There he received his doctorate in 1997 with the thesis Mimesis z "Twarzy księżyca" Teodora Parnickiego and habilitated in 2010 with the thesis Ciała Sienkiewicza. Studia o płci i przemocy .
From 2012 to 2015 he was a member of the jury for the Nike Literature Prize .
