Ryszard Pilarczyk

Ryszard Pilarczyk (born November 5, 1975 ) is a former Polish sprinter .

In 1997 he won bronze in the 200 m and silver in the 4 x 100 m relay at the U23 European Championships in Turku . At the World Athletics Championships in Athens he reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and was eliminated over 200 m in the preliminary run.

The following year he was fifth over 60 m at the European Indoor Championships in Valencia . At the European Athletics Championships in Budapest , he reached the semi-finals over 100 m and won the bronze medal in the Polish 4 x 100 meter relay.

At the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and at the 2001 World Cup in Edmonton, he came eighth and sixth respectively with the Polish relay, and won silver at the 2002 European Championships .

In 1996 and 1997 he was Polish champion over 100 m. In the hall he won the national title twice in the 60 m (1996, 1999) and the 200 m (1997, 2000).
