São João da Talha is a place and a former municipality ( Freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Loures . The community had 17,551 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).

On September 29, 2013, the parishes of São João da Talha, Bobadela and Santa Iria de Azoia were merged to form the new parish União das Freguesias de Santa Iria de Azoia, São João da Talha e Bobadela .
