São Pedro is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in the Portuguese district of Vila Real . The community had 4807 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Vila Real (São Pedro), Vila Real (São Dinis) and Vila Real (Nossa Senhora da Conceição) became the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Vila Real (Nossa Senhora da Conceição, São Pedro e São Dinis) ) , which has been called Freguesia de Vila Real since 2015 .
